License & Activation

I haven't received my license key

Your license key is sent to the email address used during purchase. Please:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Search your inbox for "MemoForge" or "license"
  3. Verify you're checking the correct email address
  4. Wait a few minutes - emails can take up to 5 minutes to arrive

License key format

Your license key follows this format:

XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Example: CLE-A3X9-B7K2-P5M8

The first three letters indicate your product. Make sure to copy the entire key including dashes.

How many devices can I activate?

Each license can be activated on up to 2 devices.

If you need to activate on a new device after using both activations, you can deactivate an old device from your account dashboard.

"Invalid license key" error

If you see this error, try:

  1. Copy and paste the key directly from your email (don't retype it)
  2. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the key
  3. Verify you're entering the key in the correct product
  4. Check that your license hasn't expired

Downloads & Installation

How do I download my app?

  1. Visit the downloads page
  2. Enter your license key
  3. Click "Access Downloads"
  4. Click the download button for your product

The download link is also included in your license email for quick access.

macOS installation steps

  1. Download the .dmg file
  2. Double-click the .dmg file to open it
  3. Drag the app icon to your Applications folder
  4. Open the app from your Applications folder
  5. Enter your license key when prompted

"App can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"

This is a standard macOS security message. To open the app:

  1. Right-click (or Control-click) on the app in Applications
  2. Select "Open" from the menu
  3. Click "Open" in the dialog that appears

You only need to do this once. After that, you can open the app normally.

System requirements

  • macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later
  • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel processor
  • 200 MB available disk space
